Our New Partnership with QENDO

At The Veteran Suite, our mission has always been to remove barriers for veterans and their families when it comes to healthcare. That means providing bulk-billed consults (where possible), making telehealth simple, and building a team that truly understands the veteran experience.

We’re now taking that mission a step further by partnering with QENDO, an Australian organisation that provides support and education for people affected by endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, infertility and pelvic pain.

Why this partnership matters

1 in 5 permanent ADF personnel are now women, and there are more than 65,000 former servicewomen in the community. Many may not realise the kind of support available to them. Through QENDO, female veterans and their families can access the world’s only established support line for endo, adeno, PCOS and infertility, along with face-to-face support groups (QENDOMeets) now running in over 21 locations.

By working together, The Veteran Suite and QENDO can:

  • Deliver targeted support for female veterans and their families
  • Raise awareness of the health challenges women face during and after service
  • Provide holistic care that combines GP consults, specialists, allied health, and QENDO’s dedicated resources

Our approach to care

Healthcare at The Veteran Suite has always been more than just a consult. Many of our clinicians are veterans themselves or have worked extensively with the ADF community, so they know the unique struggles that can come with service. This lived experience shapes the way we care — clinically thorough, but also compassionate and grounded in understanding.

Adding QENDO’s expertise means we can now offer even stronger support for women’s health concerns, recognising the impact these conditions can have not just on women, but on their partners and families as well.

A word from our team

As our Director, Sonny Didugu, put it:
“We’re incredibly excited to be working with QENDO to support the needs of veterans and their families with women’s health, sharing our passion for holistic care. Women’s health concerns don’t just affect women, but their partners and children as well. This partnership provides our patients with access to the peak organisation for endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, infertility and pelvic pain, supplementing our broader holistic care offering.”
